Avira farewell could not be started

Hello,

After restarting Windows the "umbrella is closed" – the AntiVir Guard and the Firewall don't work. After pressing the "start service" button next to Firewall I get a message that it can't be started. I tried many times to resolve this matter but I can’t fix this issue. How can I resolve this issue? Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks.

Avira farewell could not be started

This can be happen when your avira antivirus program is currently expired. If the license is expired you can't no longer use the antivirus guard. Or else you should try manually enabling your firewall.

And also when you installing the product you are not able to install the firewall deafaultly.

To do this go to your PCs' control panel and click on programs and features.

Write click on avira security and click on the change

Then click modify on the setup install box

Then click on the firewall and click next

After that restart the system.

Avira farewell could not be started

Hi, 

 

The only way to solve this problem is to reinstall Avira. But before you do that please follow the steps below

 

1. Navigate your way to C:Program FilesAviraAntiVir Desktop for a HBEDV.KEY file. Copy this to a safe

place because this is your key.

 

2. Uninstall Avira from the Control Panel and reboot your PC.

 

3. Download AntiVir Registry Cleaner.

 

4. Expand Registry Cleaner archive in a new folder, run it from there and remove all AntiVir remnants.

 

5. Reboot your PC and run it in safe mode.

 

6. Install Avira again and use your key from the HBEDV.KEY file.

 

7. Restart the computer in normal mode.

 

8. Update AntiVir.
