AVG setup error driver installation failed

Don’t know why AVG uninstallation suddenly stopped and I get this error and know AVG is messed up and not running and didn’t want to be uninstalled. I’m running Windows 7 64-bit.

How do I remove this AVG? Any AVG removal there?

Hi,

Before uninstalling a program you should keep in mind that the program is not running. Turn off all activities of AVG. Here it may be required to turn off Windows Firewall and other defender applications. Some of the programs need to connect internet while uninstalling. For smooth removal of the program you can make it fresh (updated). I think it will be removed from your systems.

However, you can also download AVG remover from the respective AVG net to remove it if normal uninstalling is not possible. For more details regarding the remover software you can visit the concerned net of AVG. I hope you understand it.

AVG setup error driver installation failed

Hi,

It seems that control panel is not able to uninstall the software. In that case you need to use software like Revo Installer. In that case you will be able to solve the problem and finally uninstall the software. Revo Un-installer is probably the best un-installer software right now in the market. You need to download it and try to uninstall all software using it in future. It is a better one as compared to Control Panel. It removes completely the software required to uninstalled.
