AVG 2011 Antivirus for Windows 7 Installation Error

Hello! I am using Windows 7 Operating System for my computer and I am trying to install AVG 2011 Business Edition antivirus program on it. Everytime I install the program I always get an error message: code 0xE001D027. Previously I had an AVG 9.0 on my computer but I uninstalled it. What seems to be the problem? Thanks!

AVG 2011 Antivirus for Windows 7 Installation Error

 

Dear Allison,

You have previously installed AVG 9.0 antivirus. You uninstall it and now want to install AVG 2011 Business, but while installing it show error message. Here are some tips for you-

** Firstly check your computer that your previous AVG antivirus has successfully uninstalled.

** Now go to local disk C, then Program files, then check folder AVG antivirus/ Avg. if found then delete it.

** Now install your new AVG antivirus.

** If still problems occurring, then you need to reinstall your operating system.

** Then install AVG antivirus.
