Hello Guys,
I have a two Dell laptops, one with nVidia GeForce GT540M and the other with an nVidia GeForce GT550M cardworking with the integrated Intel (R) HD Graphics. I have a trial version of Autodesk Civil 3D 2014 installed on Windows 7 x64. When I ran the program for the first time, it asked me for a license and when I provided the same, it tries to check something and then stops and pops a box saying "Autodesk component has stopped working". I have earlier version already on my computer and want to evaluate this version. Can anyone tell me what is going wrong? Thanks.
Autodesk component has stopped working – A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Hi Roderick,
The error is because the graphics card driver is not updated by the user.
To solve this error follow the steps mentioned below:
1) Rename the file 'C:ProgramDataFLEXnetadskflex_*_tsf.data' to .bak extension
2) Restart the AutoCAD and it will automatically re-register the software
3) Download the graphics card driver from the Autodesk official website
4) Install the driver in the AutoCAD system
5) Restart the system and run the software. the driver issue will be resolved

Before installing Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014, check that your computer meets the requirements. Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 supports 64-bit Windows 7 (Enterprise, Ultimate, or Professional edition) and Windows 8 Professional. It requires Intel Pentium 4 with Intel EM64T and SSE2 support or equivalent AMD Athlon 64 with SSE2 support or faster processor, 4 GB RAM, 12 GB free space, and 1280 x 1024 minimum screen resolution.
Now, if your computer is already installed with an earlier version of Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, try uninstalling it first so you can evaluate Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 properly. That error is probably caused by a conflict between the two versions.
