ASUS Taichi is a dual-screen ultrabook that can transform into a tablet.

Does this have durability when it comes to LCD connection to its board? I am a bit concerned about switching the unit from a laptop to a tablet and back and forth.

ASUS Taichi can transform to a tablet

Hi Oraliarfielding,

The ASUS Taichi has dual feature of Laptop/tablet.  This device has Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, dual Camera (at front and back), WiFi connectivity option, USB 3.0 slot, dual touch screens options (both with 1080p resolution), back-lit keyboard. It can be used as laptop by flicking the screen up and becomes tablet if the top panel is closed. Taichi is designed in such a way that the screen will not be damaged or tend to malfunctioning by flipping its screen close and open.

Its features are:

• Hybrid functionality (laptop/tablet)
• Backlit keyboard
• Core i7 processor
• SSD storage
• 8 GB RM

ASUS Taichi can transform to a tablet

The ASUS Taichi is a dual feature of Laptop and tablet. It can be used as a laptop and when you flick the screen up it becomes tablet. Taichi is designed in such a way that the screen will not be damaged easily. It is Full HD dual screens and Windows 8 Pro or other editions available.

It is World’s first dual screen notebook and tablet combination. It is very thin, light, and ultra-mobile. Optional stylist control and handwritten note taking.
