ASUS recovery CD not working in Windows 7.

Last year I purchased an ASUS laptop which came with ASUS recovery CD. Yesterday something went wrong and I tried recovery but my ASUS recovery CD is not working. I installed Windows 7; does it have to do something with this problem? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

ASUS recovery CD not working in Windows 7.

greetings kenny bell, in my experience using recovery cd's the cd is recovering it self if you are using in the right laptop. cause if not. the set up cannot run because it is programmed to recovery only into a specific device. and sometimes the recovery cd has a recovery partition, and the recovery cd needs that partition to complete the recovery process. so if you accidentally format the recovery partition, of course the cd will not work.
