Olivia the evidences that shows are these according to Matt Collinge, a camera buyer of ASDA.

He discovered that the market is growing quickly because of the consumers understanding of the market and its benefits it offers. Second evidence is that the firm is producing expensive amount of compact system cameras for sale in websites. 

The image quality is not the same with the mobile phone, even the DSC products and its observable even in the mainstream; its growth in the market is getting higher.  

The company believes that the consumers are already researching for the product before making a decision of purchasing it.
