Aptana Studio Professional 1 5 1 doesn’t install correctly.

Hallo there!

I have Aptana Studio professional 1 51 but it has refused to install. I do not get any information on why it cannot install, only that I click on the setup and nothing happens. I thought that it could be that the Compact Disk I was installing from is corrupted so I got a better and working setup but I am still having the same problem. What can I do to have it installed correctly? Thanks.

Hi Harvey,

The problem you have could be due to a number of reasons. Now, in so far as operating system goes, you need to check if the version of Aptana you are installing is compatible with your OS. You can also try downloading the file again directly from their site because the file could just be damaged or a broken download. Going back to the OS, there are also issues in installing Aptana on Kubuntu OS. It is requiring the Eclipse plug-in to be installed. Hope this answered your question.
