Hi Donald,

Follow these steps to solve your problem:

  • You need to download the latest firmware and install it to your computer with Blackberry Desktop Software 6.1 or higher.
  • Remove the battery of your device
  • Launch the Desktop Software then connect your device.
  • Wait until an error will appear saying that you can't connect your device just select the "Update".
  • A prompt will appear, just follow it until the firmware is updated but you have to give attention to Desktop Manager because when "Waiting for device to initialize" you need to insert the battery.
  • Once the firmware completely update just select the "Applications" in the Desktop Manager the select all components that are required.

If after doing this and nothings happen follow this other way to solve this problem:

Back up all data and files from your device this can delete all your files and data.

You need to download Jl_Cmder and install it to your computer

You need a latest version of Desktop Manager and Handheld OS on your computer if you don't have this it better to download and install it to your computer.

  • Go to local drive C: > Program Files > Common Files > research in motion > apploader then delete the "vendor.xml".
  • Connect your device to your computer but make sure that the Desktop Manager is not open.
  • Remove the battery of your device
  • Using Jl_Cmder, wipe your device but you can take several attempts before you can connect successfully. Just be patient.
  • Your device will reboot then give an error of "507".
  • Install OS the Restore.

The second solution is very ricky since it will wipe out all your files so I suggest the best way to solve your problem is to contact for technical support of blackberry or go to the nearest shop to the blackberry expert.

I hope this solution can solve your problem.
