I am getting this odd message when I try to install the xmplay in the computer. The error message stopped the installation. I am getting same error message when I try to reinstall, why I get the same error message? How do I fix this error? Suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

The application error – Unable to locate component
This is really an odd error. It seems that the file in error, as what was indicated in the error message, is not in the right format or is using a filename in symbols that can’t be translated by the program that’s why it can’t start. If the same thing happened when you tried reinstalling it, then it is possible that the installer you are using is damaged.
Or it is also possible that you are using a program that is older and does not support your operating system. To make sure the program will run successfully download the latest version from XMPlay 3.8.0.5. This latest version supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
For Mac users, you can download the BASSMOD from BASSMOD Audio Library 2.0.
