Apple Inc sued for too much eBook pricing

Hi,

After doing a lot of reading regarding the news about Apple and other publishers being sued of “antitrust” regarding over pricing of e-books Apple didn’t give a detailed comment on what they will do but Apple is claiming that the price fixing was to “enhance” the competition and make everyone satisfied.

The Wall Street Journal, citing sources in the know, say that Apple, and publishers Macmillan and Pearson are “reluctant” to follow suit with other publishers that hope to settle the matter before a formal antitrust investigation begins.

Based on the news a settlement is in the works but Apple and two other major international publishers may avoid settling in a cartel e-book fixing antitrust investigation.
