My client asked to provide me original corel draw files of my works. But I want to add security features such as cannot copy, change, etc. on these sample corel draw files. I do not any way to do that. Can I do it within corel draw or should I use another tool. Please provide me a better solution.
Any way to add security restrictions on sample corel draw file?
Hi Melanie,
There is a built in security in Corel Draw however it works for PDF file. The downfall of this is, the security only takes effect when the file is opened in Adobe. However, you can also set the editing properties of a layer. This is done by clicking lock or unlock beside the name of the layer. There is also a button to disable “ EDIT ACROSS LAYER”, where in it lets you work only on an active and the desktop layer.

Hello Melanie H Brown,
As security is good when you are giving your work to the other person. Especially when you have some specific task to show so that others cannot get a copy of that. So I suggest you to add the security within the coral draw. As this one is the best approach to making you feel secure. There are other tools but they cannot give you as much abstraction as the internal security do.
