Any direct ways to convert CSV to PST file?

 Hi,

I will like to ask if there are any ways to convert csv to pst file in either Outlook or Excel program itself? Since both of them are Microsoft Office softwares, I am sure there are ways to do it without having any third party programs to do the job. Most of them will have ads, viruses or just a trial. It will waste resources and energy so having to do the direct method will be a good resource management. Thank you in advance.

Hello  Conrad

There is a manual way to convert  CSV file to PST file.

I am giving you step by step process to do this. No need to use software just some manual steps in outlook.

  • Open Microsoft Outlook. Now click "File" in the top menu bar, select "Open" and then click "Outlook Data File.

Locate your PST file in the resulting files, and then double-click its icon to load the data into Outlook. Next

Click on "File" again and select "Import and Export. After that Select "Export to a file and click Next.

Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" and click "Next." Also click "Yes" if prompted by Outlook.

Locate the folder containing the data you want to convert and click the adjacent "+" symbol. Now

Click the name of the data type or folder that you want to convert (e.g., "Calendar," "Inbox"). After this

    Click "Next and Browse.

Give the file a name, select a save location and click Ok. And

Click Next. After this click "Finish" to export the selected data.

  • All done.

Hi there user:

You can do it using your Outlook. Kinds of easy to do as you’ve stated, without having any third party programs to do the job. Launch your Outlook and then click the ‘Import/Export’ button, import the .csv file/s to .pst file/s, and then click ‘Next.’ Find the folder where you want to save the file. Click Ok. Click Finish.

Hope this could help.
