Is android catching up with iPad in terms of price and features? What are the percentage of users between an Android tablet and iPad?

Android Tablets Catching up with iPad

With the release of new technologies and products almost monthly by top producers like Microsoft and Apple, it’s no wonder that questions like yours will encountered. Tablets have been out in the market for 20 years now and only when Apple released its iPad did it gained recognition from consumers.

However, in today’s fast changing world, it is no surprise at all that a lot of consumers now prefers Android tablet instead of using Apple’s iPad.

Reasons like Android is smaller and sleeker, can multitask truly, having a camera, need not to be synced, and having replaceable batteries are what makes Android worth buying instead of iPad. However, 97% of consumers prefers iPad rather than Android Tablets for a lot of reasons. Reasons could be popularity of the brand or consumers does not know their specifications difference.
