Are there any best alternatives of Ubuntu OS which look like same has similar features as ubuntu. I wanted to know about the best three alternatives of ubuntu with comparison among those three.

Hi Danny!

You might want to try Linux Mint since it is also Ubuntu-based distribution. This is good for beginners and compatible with Ubuntu software repositories. more complete out-of-the-box experience by including browser plugins, media codecs, support for DVD playback, Java and other components.

Fedora is independent, openly-developed project designed by Red Hat, open for general participation, led by a meritocracy, following a set of project objectives. The goal of The Fedora Project is to work with the Linux community to build a complete, general purpose operating system exclusively from open source software. Development will be done in a public forum.

Pear OS is also a good choice since it is based from Debian and Ubuntu. Some of its features include ease-of-use, custom user interface with a Mac OS X-style dockbar, and out-of-the-box support for many popular multimedia codecs. So if you want to have a similar interface of Mac OS, choose this!
