Surely, In order to install or uninstall any product from the system you need to have administrator permissions.

1.    The permissions are provided to you by the administrator itself. Once you are given the rights, you are able to do the updating. Login to administrator account and find the updating successful.

2.    If it does not work then you may try changing the security settings. Change the security settings of the system drive and the drive where the software is installed to have your own permissions.

3.    Or change the Account type to administrator. This should surely work on a ny system.

Thanks.

This error obviously means you are not using an administrator account. In any program, updating requires a user account with full administrative privileges and you won’t get this on limited or non-admin user accounts. If you need to update a particular Adobe application, use an administrator account.

If you don’t have an admin account, ask someone who has an admin account on the computer to install the update for you or ask the network administrator to install the update on your computer. There’s no other way but to use an admin account. If you don’t have an admin account, you can try using the built-in “Administrator” account.

Restart the computer then press F8 before the Windows logo appears. In “Advanced Boot Options” screen, scroll down and select “Safe Mode” then hit Enter. In the login screen, select the account named “Administrator” to log in. Once you are logged in, update the Adobe program you want to update. When you are finished, restart the computer in normal mode.
