If that’s the problem when starting Adobe Premiere Pro, it seems you have a problem with your graphics adapter. If it’s a compatibility problem with your operating system or with the specifications of your machine, you will have a different error. The immediate solution to this is to try to update your graphics adapter’s drivers. Check with your video card’s manufacturer’s website for latest update for your drivers.

If you have a Matrox graphics adapter, go to Matrox Driver and Software Download. If you have a built-in Intel graphics adapter, go to Intel Support Drivers and Software. If you have an AMD Radeon graphics adapter, visit AMD Drivers and Software. If you have an NVIDIA graphics adapter, go to NVIDIA Driver Downloads.

If you have an ASUS graphics adapter, go to ASUS Support. Since you did not mention the exact version of Adobe Premiere Pro you have, visit Adobe Premiere Pro System Requirements and look for your version. Verify if your graphics adapter is supported.

If, on the other hand, your graphics adapter is no longer supported, I guess you have to purchase a new graphics adapter that is supported by Adobe Premiere Pro.
