Adobe Photoshop CS4 got crashed

I am new with Adobe Photoshop CS4. 1 day and 24 hours to be exact.

I was about to save my work with suddenly I got this strange error message which directly closes my application and now I need to start from the beginning.

I want to know what caused this error so I won’t encounter this all over again.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 got crashed

Hi James,

Was it installed correctly?

Try reinstalling it and then check . Does your video card support Open GL? If No then this could the reason of the crash, or else during the crash was your local or network printer connected?

If a printer is connected it sometimes causes problems, you need to make it a default printer first and in order to do that you'll have to download a driver. You can download a postscript windows driver from here.

If this doesn't help create a new account and try or else reset the preferences so that if the damaged preference file is creating this problem then this would help you once you reset all the preferences and then give it a try.
