Hi,

I used Adobe Acrobat smoothly. But recently I faced a problem to open a .pdf file. An error message appears. The error message says,” The font ‘ADCOLH+Arial-Black’ contains a bad/BBox.” Can anybody help?

Hi Richard,

To remove the bad/Box problem I would suggest changing the case of the font file i.e. from upper to lower. Generally we encounter such an error when we are using an uppercase ttf file like ARIAL.TTF. Just lower the case of the font files and run your Adobe again and that should do the trick.

Hope this Helps!

Regards,

Alice

Hello Richard A Tittle,

Such problems are mostly related to the .ttf file in the fonts directory. Make sure you are not missing such file.
You can try to use load_font.php software, but in case you want to make the update manually, please consider following the below steps:
1) Create the .afm file or .ufm file in case you use version 0.6.0 (font metric)
2) After creating .afm or .ufm copy to the dompdf dir (generally you can find it under dompdf/lib/fonts)
3) Update the cache of dompdf (dompdf_font_family_cache)
