Adobe flex builder 3 error opening the program

Hello there,

After I have installed Adobe Flex Builder 3 on my PC this No Disk error appeared. When I mount the ISO image the program works just fine and without image I have this. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? The program cannot be opened without the image mounted?

Javaw.exe – NO disk

There is no disk in the driver. Please insert to a disk into driver D:

Hello,

Your problem may be a generic Window problem, where Window faces problem in identifying old /conflicting USB drives, once installed and may be gone long ago.

 Well you can try from either of workarounds

1st Workaround:

Go to the Windows 7 Program Compatibility tool. Control Panel >> Programs >> Run programs made for previous versions of Windows. If you get the recommendation for Flex Builder 3, to be run in Windows XP on Service Pack 2. Doing that should fix it. For doing that:

Click: Start >> Programs >> Adobe
Right Click – Flex Builder
Select: Trouble Shoot Compatibility
Go through wizard by clicking <<”Try recommended settings”

2nd Workaround: Steps for Clean-up & Removal of old USB Mass Storage Drivers:

  • Reboot. Now just plug in all USB storage Devices back.
