Hey,

recently when I tried to install an Adobe Flash Player into my computer using the Window 7. I run out of options since a simple installation like this was not able to complete. Instead, I received an ugly response that “The publisher has been blocked from running software on your machine.”

What steps that I need to do to correct this mishap on my computer and to be able to install Adobe Flash Player? Please help.

Hi,

Try this to unblock a software publisher:

Open Internet Explorer and then  click the” Tools” button on the top of the browser, and then click Internet Options. On the Content tab, in the Certificates section, click on “Certificates”, and then select the “Untrusted Publisher” tab, and select the Publisher you wish to unblock and click the Remove button.

Hope this help.

Hello Wayne,

Thanks for the post!

It is just that your computer security is stopping you to install flash player, but there is a simple solution for this. Please perform the below steps and your error will go away:

1) Open internet explorer and go to “Tools” and click on Internet Options.

2) Now go to content tab and in that the 3rd option you will see is Certificates section.

3) Under Certificates section click on Publisher tab and select the untrusted publisher’s tab.

4) Remove the publisher which you do not want and then install flash player.

Hope the above information helps!

Regards,

Keaton Christopher
