Hello,

Last day, I was browsing a variety of sites and suddenly an error message appeared saying “A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly.

If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive.

Do you want to abort the script”?

I removed Adobe Flash Player and reinstalled this but the same issue persists.

How can I fix this error?

Suggest me please!

Thanks.

Adobe Flash Player 10 Error

Hello Shawn!

Since you didn't mention what web browser you are using, here you have a couple of general tips that may help you. First, you should try clearing all your browser history and see if the pop-up still appears.

If this doesn't work, dig deeper and uninstall the Adobe Flash Player, but be sure to clean all the registry and all its trace using a specialized software (like CC Cleaner).

Then reinstall the program again using the Adobe Downloader. After the installation is complete, don't forget to uninstall the Adobe Downloader, because this is what might be causing the problem.

If you're using Firefox, check the extensions you have (Firefox > Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) to see if these are the ones using Flash and preferably remove whatever you don't need. Here you have more details.

Another option is to uninstall the current version of Flash, since it may be too recent, and install an older version.

Or you could test to see if the error still appears when playing the video on a different browser.

Hope it was helpful!
