How can I add notes or custom messages on my rdp mail notification? I’m setting it up using the task wizard and I’m done with setting the notification for successful login. I want to add a note on the failed login email notification aside from what is there on the default. Thank you

Hi Roman,
You can follow the following steps to add notes to your failure email notification:

Start the start scheduler

go to the event viewer tasks list

Right click on the task you had created for the failed login email notification and click on export

Save it in a different place where you can easily access it later

Right click on your task and select edit

You will need to edit your task by including a value a value queries element in your event trigger element this are the variables you want to add in your task apart from your default settings

After setting up the variable add them to the email message.

Apart from this you can add the variables or customize your email notification during the initial setup of the email notification by following the following simple steps

On your already created failed email notification dialog box  click on the trigger and hit edit

Select custom and choose new event filter and click on xml

Then edit the query and customize it to your preference.

Copy and paste this message to your failed email notification and then close the dialog box
