Active Directory Integration Error Message

Hi TechyV buddies!

I am having an error in adding an Active Directory Group in our domain. Our domain was added to the SetupSystem AdministrationSystem & website page. The error message is this:

“The validation of the data provided failed due to the following: Active directory group 'WinNT:/prtgadmins' not found The object has not been changed.”

Can anyone help me with this problem? I will provide any information if needed. I will be thankful for any help rendered. Thank you!

Active Directory Integration Error Message

Hi,

The possible solutions for your problem are:

1. In the Normal Input Field check whether your group name is present or not. The drop down changes to normal input field when there are a large number of groups. So check in that list. If it is not present then add the group name manually:

WinNT:\DomainGroup

2. Try deleting the Local PRTG users. Then sign in with the Active directory username and password. This should work for your problem.
