Access violation when updating PDF creator

I had my first installation of PDF Creator about seven days ago and I got  an error same as today. Today I wanted to install its latest update since the one I had installed was not the latest one.

Everything went well, initializing, extracting files and etc. Now the problem is that when I am about to click the FINISH button, the errors below occurred. Last time, I just used the task manager to fix it. But I wonder why it happened again today. If I’m going to use the task manager again, I’m afraid the same error will occur next time.

Please help me.

Access violation when updating PDF creator

Dear Tina Hi

According to the Run time error message you got while installing PDF creator, it seems to me that it's a software conflict. Your PDF creator conflicts with another already installed software on your machine. May be this software is Microsoft Visual Studio or another software that needs its runtime redistributable like DivX and others.

If Microsoft Visual studio runtime is installed on your machine, try to uninstall it and any dependent program, reinstall PDF creator again and then reinstall your Microsoft Visual Studio runtime related softwares. So the scenario is: uninstall the runtime, install PDF creator and reinstall the runtime again.

Hope this may help you

Best of luck
