I am updating my photo album through Opera browser but I keep getting an error message stating: “502 Proxy Error” and it do not let me view the webpage. It is very irritating as I am having a hundred pictures that I need to customize and put a description.  Below is the entire error message that I am receiving:

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy could not handle the request POST /chris/albums/arrange.pl

What can I do? Does anyone have an idea about the error I am encountering? Can you please help?

Hay

Opera Browser would not able to find limited speed to download any long file. Check out that message will only show during uploading. If it completely would not work in any pages then follow next;

1. Your opera browser work in offline. So go to home page>> file and last click on status available.

2. Modem connection currently change being kbps to mbps.

3. your photo file will contain low format to upload through your connection. If it is fast and undated then upload one after one for first try.

Don’t worry 502 proxies will basically show for slow connection or website temporary unavailable?

Keep running.

That is a problem resulting possibly from the proxy settings you are using in the browser, they seems to not be allowing the update of the photo album through your browser to take place, and therefore you will need to check the proxy settings in the browser and change them.

For you to check and set the proxy settings in the opera browser, you will need to follow the steps below:

  • In the browser, you will need to select Tools and then Preferences.
  • You will then need to open the Advanced tab and then select the Network sub-category.
  • Next you will need to click the Proxy servers button.
  • Then in the Address box, you will need to enter the address of the proxy server, enter the port in the Port box.
  • Click OK when you have finished.
