When launching Autodesk 3DS Max Design and loading biped.dlc plug-in, it shows “3DS Max application stopped working”.

Any ideas about the error?

I think you are having trouble with autodesk 3dsmax , the thing is that you didn't specified which version you are using . It is very important while posting here to give specific and clear details on what your problem is and your  Pc's full details so that we can help you conveniently . 

All you have to do is uninstall the autodesk 3d max by going to control panel and then click add or remove programs (in windows XP) or programs and features (in win XP ) now select autodesk 3d max and then click uninstall , now you have uninstalled, purchase and download a frsh copy from the link below:
