Lately I've been getting error from DVD Decrypter within RipIt4Me. I've been getting this error routinely, on every disk I use it(RipIt4Me) on for the past month. I have the last version of RipIt4Me and DVD Decrypter on my system.

Some of the disks I've been getting the error on I don't believe have the latest decryption, hence my dilemma.

DVD Decrypter within RipIt4Me error

Hello Mary,

You may be getting that error due to several reasons:

  • The DVD you are using may be corrupt and therefore data cannot be read onto it successfully.
  • The DVD drive of the machine that you are using may be having problems and therefore is cannot be able to read the data successfully as well.

To verify if the DVD disk is the one having problems, you will need to try using another DVD and see if it will not bring the issue you are getting right now. If the alternative DVD brings the issue, then the problem is with the DVD drive. You will need to clean it just in case dust has accumulated in it.

If the problem persists you may need to replace the whole DVD drive altogether.

Regards,

Carl
