Windows OS
I just installed Windows 7 and now I can't play a DVD in my DVD player. It is saying it isn't recognized. Is it because of Windows 7 itself or is it because of something with the installation? hould I remove it and reinstall? Or is it possible it will never work with Windows 7? Thank you.

I have Windows 7 and it seems to be running slow. I thought it was my wireless but my iPad runs fine with no issues. Is there anyway I can tell if it is Windows or something else? Can I determine the cause of the slowness? Maybe it is a virus but I'm not positive so I want to determine the issue. Thank you.

I have gadgets that came with Windows 7 and I do not want them. Am I able to uninstall them? If I can, can someone please provide instructions to me on how to do so? I would appreciate your help. Also, if I accidentally uninstall one that I don't want to, am I able to restore it?

I just updated my Windows 8 to 8.1. After updating it showed the error Error Code 0x80240031. What is this error code? What could be causing this issue and how to resolve it? Did I did something wrong? Is there any way that we can eliminate this issue? Can you provide me step-by-step solution and alternative ways to do this with my desktop computer? In reformatting my desktop what is the best and easy way to do this?
Thank you!

Hi there, I am wondering if there is a way to have the Run option in the start menu for Windows 7. I am used to having it there from Windows XP and I would like to have this option available to me. Can anyone help with getting this accomplished? Thank you.

When I play a video, Windows randomly crashes. It doesn't do it with every video, but it does do it frequently. Sometimes I can watch a few videos without it happening, but sometimes it will crash right after a video starts. I'm worried this is a big issue, but if there are any suggestions on what I can do to remedy the issue, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I just bought a Microphone today and I tried to use it with MS Word. I have already activated Windows Voice Recognition but it is Not working properly.
Here's an example:
When I say, 'I live in Los Angeles.'
It types, 'I saw your Cap.'
Please don't laugh. I'm not joking. I haven't compromised while paying for the Microphone. It cost me 38 dollars. How to fix this error?

I really don't know what's wrong with Microsoft. It has been revealed that Microsoft is the largest software company but it has not been able to be like Linux to avoid viruses. On the other hand, I have tried some Microsoft games and they lag like nothing else. If that's the case, I will give up using Microsoft's everything and shift to Linux. Am I leaving Microsoft? Please provide logic to support your answers.

I am trying to access drive C on Lenovo G80 laptop but it won't go through. What pops up instead is this error message, "a sharing violation occurred while accessing C:Users…Desktopfolderfilename.png" What could have gone wrong?
I am accessing this drive on an administrator account, no other users accounts are logged in currently so I don't understand this error. I have tried both ways of opening drive C i.e double-click and right click method but this has failed too What could be the problem?
