Windows OS
I saw an article, "Hibernation is an outstanding property of Windows. When user switches Windows to the Hibernation mode, it copies the data of RAM to the hard disk and switches off the power supply and whenever the user switches to the general mode, all the data from the hard disk gets reloaded on RAM. It’s an extremely efficient way to keep the computer system on without consuming electricity."
Great! How to switch Windows XP to hibernation mode?

I am using windows since Windows 95. Microsoft Team is promoting windows in order to provide user friendly interfaces, but option of backup of windows and My Computer or local drivers has not been provided by any windows version even in XP. The “Farstone’s Restore It” is the software that provides complete backup facility to user in case of sudden loss of windows and data of local drivers, caused by light fluctuation or virus attack.
Further it facilitates Automatic & Continuous Data Protection, Restores even when Windows fails to start. My question is that why the windows is unable to provide these types of software in the installation of windows.

Hi,
I'm Sharif. I'm using Windows XP on my desktop. So far it was a nice experience but in recent times I am facing an unwanted problem. like, after closing my media player for some times I can not reopen that & my pc becomes mute. I can't adjust my volume level. If I click on the volume icon shows "There is not any active sound mixer device on your computer. Please check your hardware & install device from control panel". But if I restart my computer, sound becomes normal & no problem occurred. Again after closing media player for sometimes it occurs again.
What is the problem? What should I do?
Please inform me.
