I'm in the process of installing a Mcafee Groupshield as my  new anti-virus. Can I just install this without uninstalling my old anti-virus? How does this affect my computer?

I was installing Avira Free Antivirus software but failed because an error happened (see screenshot below). 

I tried to install again, but the same error happened.  I wasn’t sure where to find the said file.

So please, can someone help me how to install Avira properly?

I was removing from my PC the installed Avira Free Anti-virus software via the Control Panel when this error message popped up.  

I was wondering why it did when no other software or installation was running.

Please help me since I needed to install a different brand of antivirus software.
