How could I translate lower case to upper case by using commands on Linux S.US.E, 

Output should be seen on file not on terminal. What command should be used?

 I am using linux SUSE. I don’t know much about terminal commands. I want to create shell script or file having program. How to run program and show results on terminal? Tell me an easy way.

I received a popup windows with the heading YaST2 during the installation process of openSUSE 11.1. The window states “Can't copy/var/adn/mount/media.1/media to/var/cache/zypp/rawrepositoryEDr6c5. Can't provide /media.1/media: Can't copy/var/adm/mount/media.1/media to/var.cache/zypp/raw/repositoryEDr6c6”. Please help me resolve the issue.

I installed openSuse 11.0 for my Linux OS and downloaded catalyst 8.9 to be installed after. Then, I completed the installation of Catalyst 8.9 by following the ‘Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)’ site’s instruction and the installation was a success. (I can tell that the driver was installed because I was then able to enhance my screen resolution). In spite of this, I came to face an error message when I tried starting the catalyst control center. The attached error message will give you a better idea.

Initialization error

Hello Guys, I have a problem regards with updating my OpenSUSE. Every time I update it this error appears and gives me no idea about what this error all about especially to the characters represented by this error, and of course I am not a technical person so I really don’t know how to fix this one. Can I fix this one by my self? Please send me a simple instruction how to solve this.
