This is just one mistake. I deleted some important files from D drive. During that time, I thought those files are not necessary for me. But now, I can realize how much valuable those files are.

In addition, I also deleted those data from the  recycle bin. Please, if anybody knows how can I get my lost data, please tell me. If it is possible, please also give me the best solution.

I am using a Sandisk USB 2 GB. Once I plug in the device, the computer automatically recognizes it.

However, when I go to my computer to click the actual drive, an error message appear.

I am using Windows XP. I know reformatting can be one of the options but I need some of the files on it so I would consider that as my last option. I also scanned the device for viruses using Avira. Does that mean that my USB is already corrupted?

I was using Microsoft life cam as my webcam and microphone whenever I make video calls in Skype. I dropped the webcam a couple of times and I noticed that the microphone quality became really terrible. I just bought a generic mic and I want to use it now together with the life cam.  How can I switch the microphone?

I already plugged the mic but it is still not working.

Can anyone help me out?

I am an IT,  maintaining two PC servers in my office.  I have a  different backup for my PC server (win 2k3 and win 2k).  I use a cloning disk software and a Microsoft NT backup tools. 

The problem is,  how can I use these backups in the future if I have a motherboard or CPU breakdown? Definitely there wouldn't be a brand new motherboard with the same model if I had bought these CPU last 4 years ago. 

Can I transfer these backup in a different model but with the same brand of motherboard/CPU and with higher performance? Can you also recommend me a backup software for this type of problems?

I have faced a problem in my office, relevant to databases in SQL Server. For its rectification, I wanted to carry the two different  Databases to my senior, using a Seagate USB Drive about 320 GB storage capacity. Free space it contains is 60 GB.

But the two Databases Backups contains as under;

Database-01= 3.50 GB         Database-02= 19.40 GB

No error while copying the data into the device from my PC.  But while getting the data, Database-01 has copied safely and restored as well but in copying the Database-02, I got an error message :  Can not copy from Mass storage device,  after copying almost 95%.

I allocated 2 volumes of 1.5 TB on Microsoft Windows 2008 host, changed  them in dynamic and merged  them as a single volume of 3 TB,  One Volume is deleted from the host and volume state is inaccessible on host now.

How can I get the data back from existing volume ?

I have a Transcend 4GB flash drive. My computer which is running Windows XP was unable to detect the flash drive when I plug it on USB port. But when I use it on a computer with Windows 7 OS, it was easily detected by the machine.

Is there a problem with my Operating System? My XP doesn’t give me any problem except for this.

I have been using Visio 2000 for many years. I never saw such kinds of errors before. This error is disturbing me to store my data successfully. What is the problem, please describe to me.  Please check the error message below:

What does this error actually mean. Please inform me about what to do to solve this problem. I have to continue my work.

Hi! I have a problem. I am unable to format my FLASH DRIVE. What should i do? When I right click on my drive, the format option is set to be DISABLED. It contains virus because the files which are inside are very uncommon, with different characters. Is there any software available for formatting the drives?
