I downloaded an update from Microsoft. Whenever I save a jpeg or anything else, the title to what I saved is not visible in the "Save box". I would then save it again & it would say it already exist and would ask to overwrite it. When I leave the internet & look at it through windows, it's there. When I go back on the internet & save another jpeg/file to the exact location, nothing is there except what I saved before I downloaded the update. What to do?

I am trying to reinstall windows XP on an HP Compaq nx6320, The setup process halts and says that it can not find HDD. The HDD is fine because I have used a third party HDD partition/check program and has worked fine. It is a SATA drive connection. So what can i do?

The problem is that my default home page continues to change from my own settings. This started after the site I was once locked up.
I have run the updated ad-aware, spy-bot and Norton anti virus but still no changes.

When i visit youtube.comv I am getting this error :

Error : #1053 : Illegal override of receiveVideoFPS in com.google.youtube.net.yt

What can now I do to fix this? If i press continue, the video player shows refresh your page, but the problem not solved.

I am using Internet Download manager 6.05. After installing it, I added a plugin on Firefox, then I disabled the plugin because I wanted to download software using Firefox, but IDM is still doing the downloads. How can I disable IDM for Firefox?

I have a batch file which copy some file to a certain directory.

It work on windows XP fine

but when i try to do it on windows 7 it is not working.

Is there any changes of a copy command in windows 7?

This will hang my explorer for some time.

I have a Mac OS on my Virtual Box. My Installation version was 10.6.2. But for some reason I need to update it. For these reasons I update it with Mac 10.6.7 combo update version. Which I download from apple. But after update when I start my Mac again it shows kernel program Mitch match on your hardware definition. So what can I do?
