I have created a PDF file with active form fields for typing in information and I want it to assign auto numbering to it.

For example, if you start with 0001, it would advance the number, that is, for this case, 0002 every time you open the file.

Is there any option in Adobe Acrobat for such thing?

Can anyone suggest a good open source PDF writer Acrobat alternative that I can use for Linux? I am using Ubuntu by the way. I tried one suggestion from source forge but it crashed when I tried to open the PDF. Any better ones out there, one that you’ve tried and worked fine?

I have a photo that is divided (virtually) into 5 sections. What I would like to happen is if the user hovers to section 1 a bigger photo will appear. If the user hovers to section 2 a different photo will appear and so on. I've read that I can use the mouse over hotspot effect for this application. Any ideas?
