Linux hotel wireless is not working. I got to a hotel with wireless connection and it is not working with my laptop which has an operating system of Linux. Can you give me some ways on how to configure a wireless network? For there are some instances that we have to connect to the internet when we are out of town.

Hey there, people. I'm having a serious technical problem right here in my laptop. I own a ASUS Notebook, Vista 32 bit system, AMD 64 Athlon. My wireless console 2.0.8 used to work, until now. I don't have slightest idea what happened to it. Icon is visible on taskbar but is disabled & not highlighted.

The icon when double clicked, the Bluetooth & 4 wireless LAN symbols are shown with first 3 dark shaded. That way I'm left alone with turned off icon. The FN + F2 Button too is unresponsive. For now i haven't altered anything. Any advices?
