I appreciate your time in helping me in inserting a newline character in the formula. Is it possible to display the result in two lines? The two lines will be the output of single formula in Excel. How to insert the line break in the formula? Does any formula exist for the requirement? If it is possible to insert new line character in between the two lines what is the way to do? We are working on algorithm development for voice recognition and are in process of analyzing various notes of test set. We have identified 30 voices. We will use them as our database. My straight question to the kind support group is, can I create the graphs directly using C program or C ++? We have good programmers in team. Presently they dump data into a text file. Then we manually copy paste them into excel and do the plotting activity. Your sincere help will improve our application. Next stage is to have dynamic database updating where this will be more necessary. Please teach.

I have only used Microsoft excel during college days and now I really regret to have no expertise in the same. I have to enter a set of numbers, indeed they are quite a lot. All the numbers should be in ascending order. The difference between the numbers should be some times 0.5 and sometimes 0.44. It varies a lot. Presently I am doing it manually because I didn’t studied topics on MS Excel. But, better late than never. I will put more efforts towards learning. Kindly give me support to start with.

I have a hardware unit which logs the values from a FPS receiver every second in some standard format. The logging happens in text file. Every time I want to see the data, I have to manually copy the columns one by one and paste it into MS Excel. And then use graph feature to analyze the results. I am a average knowledge of programming but, I am failing here completely. I want MSexcel to automatically read the text file which is being updated by the hardware unit. I know this is an interesting application yet powerful and difficult. But, if that is possible my next step will be to automatically update the graph every second, based on a text file.

Urgent help needed. I had a full excel document sheet with several sensor data. After several calculations I had plotted all of them in Excel. Due to power loss, the Computer turned off. But after turning on the computer what I can see is only a zero sized file. It is totally gone. The size was 2 mega bytes. I searched in temp folder but I could get the file. I cannot imagine redoing all the calculations as it takes not only time but also patience. I am totally lost in searching the file. Does MS excel keep backup? If yes how to access those files? Please help me quickly and get me out of trouble.

Whenever I double click on a Word document, I always get the document owned in MS 2007. For some reason I don’t want to uninstall MS 2007 office suite. Someone guide me on this unique issue and help me in getting rid of this problem if possible. Last resort would be to lose MS2007 version. Thanks a lot for your great help.
