I have recently enabled Google Talk on my Galaxy S3 and allowed update for Hangouts. But what I have noticed is that I am not able to receive any kind of notification when I get a new message. I have checked to see the settings in Google+. The message comes up if the screen is on, but none comes when the screen is off. Why does this happen? Is it the same case with everyone? Pls tell me how I can enable any sound or vibration with any new message. Thanks

I wanted to update Facebook on my Android but when I started the process, it asked for new permissions that included its ability to turn on or off my wi-fi. I did not understand why any app would need that permission and should it be granted by the user? How can I turn off that functionality if I dont want facebook to turn on or off wi-fi by itself?

I have been using Tapatalk on my Android running 4.1.2, since some weeks but since the last two days, I am not able to access Android Forums through it. I am using its full version and when I try to get into AndroidForums, Tapatalk hangs with the message "connecting to server…". Please can an expert tell me how to troubleshoot this problem?

I had a weird experience with my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014, it was charging normally and screen went off normally but when I tried pressing the home button to wake up the device, nothing happened, I tried plugging the charger again but there was no display, I checked everything, removed the battery, put it back and tried putting it on and it won't come on, but when I pressed the home button for around 30 seconds, it finally came on. What could be the problem? How do I avoid this experience again?
