I am having trouble with my Microsoft Outlook 2007 and I am hoping you could shed some light on it.

After my hard disk crashed, I was able to recover my files but when I started using Microsoft Outlook, I noticed that I could not add my mail folder into it.

The file is in .ost format and I keep on getting this error message: “The file you have chosen is not an Outlook data file. You must select a new file of this type file.” I tried adding a file in .pst format and it seems to work just fine.

I tried converting my .ost files to .pst through some software I found online but the websites were asking for money before it saves the recovered mail into .pst format.

We have been experiencing brown and blackouts here in the office frequently.

These power interruptions, I suspect, is what caused a few clients not to connect our Exchange 2007 server with Microsoft Outlook 2010. When the affected clients (4 out of 25) start their Microsoft Outlook 2010, it prompts a message saying “Loading Profile” and then it would ask for a username and password when none of this has happened before.

We tried entering a password to no avail. I am getting worried because the affected users could not access the OWA web client and all their emails and tasks are there. However, all other network connectivity such as web and shared drives seems to be working just fine.

I am using outlook 2003 and exchange 2007 but now I have a problem in outlook as I have a user who can not set up appointments. When he tries to do he gets an error message " free/busy" . I have tried all means possible cleaning the outlook but all in vain. Anyone with any idea how I can sort this out.

This is because I have a word document which is bulleted and I want to copy the same in publisher but when I do the bullet points disappear…

what I can do to copy paste the exact document without losing some of the text.

I have a PowerPoint presentation which had a clip with sound and it was producing sound well.

However after having moved the presentation and the clip to a different folder and also the sound got deleted. I have tried checking my headphones they are okay as I can hear some other sounds.

Can this be VBA related or what could be the problem?

My outlook crashes immediately when I open the task folder in the outlook 2007.
This started when I started integrating my tasks in one note 2010 and outlook 2007.
when I try to view the task view the outlook closes down.
Anyone with an idea on how to sort this problem I am stuck I can’t continue with my work and there are tasks I want to complete.

My client is working with windows 7 and office applications 2007. This user wants the recently opened documents to be saved in favorites automatically after use. At the moment they are being saved in libraries by default in the first time of use and then into subdirectory.

Is this workable for files to be saved in favorites by default.

Please help me with my problem…

I am working with word 2010 and I have got this annoying issue.

When I try to bold one word the whole document is bolded and also when I try to center one word the whole document also is centered. This repeats even when I select the document first.

Someone please assist me as is annoying and it seems very difficult to sort.
