My Operating System is Windows X P, Service Pack 3 and installed with MS Office 2000. My browser is IE 8. After typing anything in excel, when I try to save the file through toolbar button or through file menu or close through ‘X’ button, it closes. But when the same is re-opened, nothing of the typed matter is shown. MS – Word is working properly. I have re-installed MS-Office 2000 and updated, but the excel file is not getting saved. Even after using Windows repair the problem remains. The Microsoft updates have also been properly done. But they are of no use. I do not know how to solve this problem. Can you please help me?

In Microsoft Office 2007, when I am entering a number such as ‘1’ it shows ‘.01’.
Even if the number format is changed to other type, still it needs to be entered as ‘1.00’ to show as ‘1’.
I am really having a tough time with this problem.
Can anyone help me to get out of this?

I have an InfoPath form that have 50 columns. Whenever I try to publish it, I get an error saying "Cannot Update Library or List". I am thinking that this is caused by the number of columns as I have tried with lesser columns and did not get an error. Is there a limit to the number of columns in SharePoint? If there is, then is there an available workaround? I am running SharePoint 2010.

I use MS-Office 2010. When I click on a hyperlink in MS-Word to go to the url, it gives me an error message which says – 'The operation cannot be completed because of the restrictions made to this computer. Contact administrator'. As I am the administrator, I never make any restrictions. How does this happen? Please help me to get out of this problem.

I have a computer which is running on Windows 7 and I have set up Windows Live mail which for now is functioning well. Microsoft Outlook 2010 on the other hand has been giving me a lot of problems and I have been unable to configure it.
I am now wondering if Microsoft Outlook 2003 can work with Windows Live Mail installed on the same PC. Can someone please shed some light on this issue?

I have a number of problems with my Microsoft Outlook 2003 that I hope someone will help me solve. I tend to think that these problems are due to a power blackout that occurred yesterday. I use Windows 7 and I may have lost my entire address book because since then Outlook fails to access the data in the contacts folder yet all the data in this folder appears to be intact. Something else bothering me is that although all the relevant folders are present the Rules in Outlook are not functional anymore

My inbox is currently giving me a lot of headaches. I am looking for a way to configure it such that the messages in my inbox are no longer threaded.
One thing that I don’t like is that group messages from the same person is turned into a thread which can be viewed by clicking on a disclosure triangle which is located by the first message in that conversation.
I would be happy to know of some way to deactivate this threading feature.

I have a Yahoo email address which I normally use for my business purposes only. However, I want to use Microsoft Outlook for other purposes but every time I try opening it, I get a message telling me that I need a server. I don’t know what a server is and I would appreciate if someone can help me figure out this problem.
