I have tried out both MS Access and Open Office Database and found them very good for designing databases. I have a question about them though. Which one is better in terms of ease of understanding and user-friendliness? I mean MS Access is paid and feature rich but Open Office is free and open source,right? So which one should I go for?
Any experienced database designers who have used these could help me out here .

What are the most distinct vital and technical features of Microsoft Office Excel 2013 from Microsoft Office Excel 2010 that are to be noted by lay person? Are there any similarities thus any feature found in the 2010 version that is still maintained technically in the 2013 version? Thank you.

I was trying to make an assignment. As usual, I opened up many websites and tried to copy their contents and merge them in one. But the problem I am facing is, the spacing of copied text is different for different websites. Also, the text copied from wikipedia has superscript notations denoting references to those terms like [1],[2] etc. In my assignment, I have 120 such notations. Can anyone tell me, how to get rid of all this mess and make my assignment neat and clean? Thanks in advance.

I hear a lot about SharePoint these days, but I'm having trouble understanding exactly what it is all business and marketing jargon. Try Hands-on too much effort seems well (several heavy software you download not only free). Could someone have a good developer to the description of the SharePoint developer is that I would know what to do especially SharePoint developers in general ?

I extraction with Microsoft Office Interope mounting characteristics PPTX and PPT files with C #. I was able to obtain information about the shapes, animations, but not in a position to extract details of the kinds of ppt or pptx balls contains or consists of balls of leaves, etc. Please help me find this. Update a database with 6000 duplicate rows. Duplicates are companies who all share a number of common codes. My problem is that I am trying to replace one or two areas at a time. That’s all that needs to be replaced. I just need to know if have automated the process of how. I know I could write code to do this, if the value to zero by 2010, it must be replaced. Any help would be great. I’ll be there if you need more information about the problem.

I was about to give a presentation in classroom when I connected my laptop to the projector. Suddenly the screen changed to some kind of player in which previous and next buttons are there. I moved across slides using those buttons. Then, there was a slide having a link to a text file. I clicked on that. It opened up in my laptop but not on the projector. I somehow managed the presentation. But now, I want to know about it. Can someone please tell me about this problem and also suggest a solution. Thanks in advance.

I am using Microsoft Office 2007, today I encountered a problem using MS Excel. Firstly I opened a file in Excel and after a few seconds, I connected to the Internet through WiFi. Now when I returned back to my Excel file, it started hanging up, and later on, it asked to save the file, as I clicked on Yes button, the Excel application got Abnormally Terminated. I didn't clicked the close button, despite that this all happened. So please tell me, why my Excel application is closed and what could be the reason behind this problem ?

If there are many e-mails, I save them in different folders in the PST. My problem: I do not have enough time to do it alone, so I want to duplicate the access to this account and PST over 10 people. Then we would like to see an entire inbox, DVT and change. Is there a way to do?"

I want to add a function in MS Office. Currently I'm looking to develop in VBA. However, it seems that the execution of macros requires security disabled. This means that when I distribute the VBA program, others have to enable macros to run. (Security Issues) The problem now is how do I distribute the VBA I wrote ZB in an EXE And there is another way to go about creating this module?
