Database
HI,
I have a problem after migrating from MS LCS 2005 to OCS 2007. The change to OCS is not taking place. The screen is the same as for LCS. While I tried to reinstall the program, the options were shown as if LCS was still in the system.
I even tried installing a fresh on another server. But it is giving the same result. The EM 2.1.15 for OCS is not working. MS is working properly including CWA and OC clients.
Even after installing OCS, why does the documentation show that such an installation never took place?
Can you help me by explaining what the possible problem could be?

Hi,
We are in the process of migration from LCS 2005 Service pack 1 to OCS 2007 R2. We have a Director, an Archive, 2 Proxy servers for access and 2 LCS FE. (One of the AP is used for federation and other for providing remote access for the user, containing local domain chart.
This is to ensure that the users will be able to connect using the domain PC. I have several questions. They are:
a) Will I be able to use one AE exclusively for remote access, while using the other for federationweb and conferencing AV?

Hi,
I've a question of Oracle Advanced Security. Docs show we can use LDAP on Windows 2000 to authenticate users connecting. We uses NT group to authenticate/restrict access to database normally.
Can I do similar thing in Oracle on Linux and Windows 2000 too. Our applications currently hosted on Windows 2000/IIS-5 and most of them are active server pages.
I want to know can we use NT username and password which user provides from the browser to control the access to the Oracle Database on Linux.
Please give me solution for this.
Thanks.
