While attempting to install a program, I got an error on my Windows 8 machine. It says, "C:WindowsSystem32msxml3.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support". It seems like a registry issue and I am not really an advanced user and don't want to add any more harm to my computer so I am asking here. What should I do to fix this?

Recently, I downloaded a video of mp4 format and I also downloaded AVI-Mux_GUI-1.17.8 to fix the out of sync audio problem but I found that the mp4 file is not supported in it then I tried to convert the video to .AVI so I loaded avidemux_2.5.2_full_win32 and tried to load the file but I got the following warning with the weird message. I have DVD Fab and it was working very well but now first time I got an error message when I played the DVD from the drive and tried to back it up it started the scan and displayed this following error message. I tried all the below Retry, Abort, Ignore and Ignore All options but the same error appeared with the same process of the scan. Can I get resolution if you have any idea about this issue?
