Malware is becoming a more common term but I am confused about the difference between Malware and virus.

Can any body explain it with an example?

I haven't got the satisfying answer yet.

I downloaded the Avid Studio Trail but in the wrong language. Is there anyway to change that? I cant even figure when Im at without translating every word. Its the trail version if I uninstall and reinstall will Avid Studio let me continue using it?

I am having error “Error – ‘Photoshop could not save “file” because write access was not granted’.” with my Mac OS. The error incurs while working with Xserve in Adobe Photoshop.

We have just been upgraded to CS5 and it usually happens with PSD and PSB files. I can click on the “Save As” but it will delete the file.

And sometimes it appears to have a name with AFP.

It is very frustrating.

How I can be able to fix it?

It is just freaking me out.

Few weeks ago I bought that new software that I wanted to install.

I tried to install it directly from the CD, the typical install shield program starts successfully but after a few seconds this error with error number {-5006: 0x90070002} occurs. I have no idea what is this about.

Please help me!

I’ve been enjoying using MoneyWell on my iPhone, iPad and Mac for a while now.  I use Dropbox to keep them in sync.  However, when I downgraded my Mac from Lion to Snow Leopard OS and reinstalled MoneyWell and DropBox on it, I’ve started getting an error message when I try to configure sync with Dropbox on MoneyWell. The error says, "There was an error downloading the document, would you like to retry?" 

Clicking on Yes still loops back to the same error message. 

Please help me get that file back on my Mac.

When I click on Layer Property Manager in AutoCad, I keep getting a Fatal Error and then it instantly shuts down my system completely. 

Any suggestions would be great,

I’ve recently installed AutoCad 2011, but once I start the program, all I get are error messages saying that I am not authorized to use AutoCad, or that the Program did not install properly and needs to be reinstalled. 

So I did- downloaded and reinstalled several times, and I still get the same message. 

Hope anyone can help me fix this.

I’m getting a fatal error with Maya 2012. 

It says

“Fatal Error. Attempting to save in C: Users/DIR/AppData/Local/Temp/XXXXX.ma”

When I tried to uninstall – reinstall, I get this error:

Exception code: C0000005: ACCESS_VIOLATION - illegal read at address 0x00000134
Fault address:  6BDEE08F in C:Windowssystem32aticfx64.dll

My system specs: Asus G73, Windows 7 64bit.

I have a blog on WordPress.com, but now when I go to my main page, I get an error:

Perhaps searching will help."

I was thinking that editing the main page would fix this, but I can’t even find that page on my dashboard now.

As you noticed on the error, I used Joomla. 

I did not have any problems installing 1.5.x, nor did I have problems logging in to the back end.
