Hotfix Pack 2 for Presentation Server 4.5 (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions) does not allow the Access Management Console 4.6 to be installed and the installation just fails with error message “Installation Failed. ”

This error does not occurs when the previous version of Access Management Console is already installed on the computer or there is streaming profiler and the streaming client installed on the computer on which Access Management Console 4.6 is to be installed.

I was using VMWare version 2 for mac and it worked just fine but I thought that VMWare version 3 would be faster and will have better memory manager. So, I uninstalled the previous version and purchased the upgraded version. But when I tried to install the upgrade it just fails saying that there were errors with the installation. I tried to look into the log file and messages in there are very confusing. I need to install this thing to continue my work which I do using Windows XP.

I downloaded windows unattended CD creator with Driverpack from the internet but I can’t help myself installing the software. Driverpack installs the drivers for some time but before it finishes an error screen pops saying that another installation is already in progress, complete it first and the installer just ends without completing the installation.
