Could you please tell me how can I close a form or any other data that can be found in design view if I have the DB set to tabbed and not display tabs?

Some of the combo boxes that offer options have become obsolete. Therefore all along the lines appears the text: "WHERE my table. Obsolete=false". It gives me no problems when I’m making a new entry, but the old records are not displayed correctly anymore.

Do you think is possible to modify the program so it can contain all entries that are not obsolete and even those that are obsolete?

I have created a simple database with 12 fields both text and numeric.

The query I’ve chosen shows the value of each field.

Why can’t the query see the database and gives me a parameter query box for every field when I shut down the database and reopen it?

I should specify that when I save the query, close it and re-open it works just fine.

I am using an unbound form so that the user could enter numbers, click on a button to update. My problem is that there is a text box formatted as Fixed with 1 decimal place and when I try to update it, it updates to the nearest number. How can I succeed in making it accept the number as it is?

I have created a main table that has an auto number primary index (Main ID) that helps me sort my reports in the order in which they are created. I know I shouldn’t play around with the auto number so I added a Sort Order field with chronological numbers so that I can insert a record in the main table and not at the end. This being said I was supposed to assign Sort Order +1 to a new order. Do you think that my method will work like auto number does? Is there anyone that can help me...

I have a form made in Windows 2003 that works great, but when I try using it on Windows 2010 the filter by form action doesn’t work and every time I try to apply it and it adds the default key value of a combo box to the filter. I even tried deleting it but it just comes back again. Has anyone heard of such a thing?

How can I manage to make the step number appear on the first page and also on the subsequent ones, and also to change automatically if a step is being added in-between others? I have to specify that each instruction is on a separate row of the table, but sometimes there are several instructions that need to contain the same step number.
