SamsungPST – Cannot open binary file

Hi guys,

The problem is with my Samsung PST, online file sharing and storage program.

While downloading a program I received an error message. Have a look at the screenshot below.

It failed to open binary file.

If you have any idea for the issue, please help.

Hi Martin,

This issue is mainly caused due to a bug in the updater for the Samsung.

There are two solutions that can possibly solve this problem for you. You can either go here,

Get the updater patch that reverts it to the older version. This seems to solve the "Cannot Open binary file" error for most.

But if this does not solve the issue for you, you will have to uninstall all the following files (updater, modem drivers and usb drivers) from the add/remove programs option.

Then start again fresh, this should help you get rid of the problem completely.
