Hi. I am a non-IT person and I don’t have any technical background. I need to export distribution list members to CSV. Please reply with the steps ASAP. Thanks in advance.

Learn How To Export Distribution List Members In Simple Steps

Hi. To learn how to export distribution list members, first click on contacts and then the list which needs to be exported should be clicked on twice. Click on file and then save as to save the file. Then, from the save as options which appear, select the text only option and click on the save button. Open the notepad in which the file has been saved and then save it as .CSV file. Again hit the save button. To export this CSV file to Excel, first open MS-Excel from the start menu. Then, select data following which click on the from text option. Then, select the CSV file which is to be imported and select the import option. A dialog box will appear wherein delimited option needs to be selected following which, click on next.

Check the box with the option tab and then mark the general option followed by finish. The existing worksheet option will be needed to be marked in the dialog box of import data and then select the range of the cell. Then, click on OK. The file will be imported successfully. Hope we helped.

I think what you mean is export your contacts into CSV. If that’s what you want to do, here’s how to do it in Mozilla Thunderbird. Launch Thunderbird then click “Address Book.”

In Address Book, you will have three items on the left pane: All Address Books, Personal Address Book, and Collected Addresses. The first item, “All Address Books,” just displays all your contacts. The second item, “Personal Address Book,” stores or lists all the contacts or email addresses you added manually. The third item, “Collected Addresses,” stores or lists all the contacts or email addresses to whom you replied to.

This is where all the email addresses go when you reply to an email but you didn’t add the sender’s email address to your contacts. It collects all the email addresses of the messages to whom you replied to that don’t exist yet on your address book. Now, select an item on the left pane that you wish to save as CSV file.

Select either “Personal Address Book” or “Collected Addresses.” Next, click “Tools” and then “Export.”

On the next screen, enter the name of the file then in “Save as type,” select “Comma Separated” then click “Save.”

That’s it. The file will be saved in CSV format (*.csv).
