Error 3617 on Microsoft FRx

I encountered Error 3617 while working with my Microsoft FRx today and editing my database.

How can I resolve this? 

Error 3617

The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship.

Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again.

(This error occurred while populating the fro_book_ctrl table in the GLX database)

Error 3617 on Microsoft FRx

These type of error Occurs only when setting a company as a default in FRx Designer. Also FRx Designer is retrieving data from the generalledger to store in the GL index. Some of the GL tables contain duplicate values and the tables in the GL index do not allow duplicates in the Table.

Solution of this problem” Microsoft FRx Support will be able to assist in identifying what table contains the duplicate values that are causing the error but the GL vendor's support will need to be involved to resolve any database issues”The Service Packs seemed to be in place, but it turned out the FRx AA Add-In was not installed. 

That’s a separate install when you use AA with FRx. I have seen a lot of people miss it especially when setting up new FRx installs,

Error 3617 on Microsoft FRx

Error 3617 appears when you set a company as a default in FRx Designer.

To fix this, FRx Support should assist in determining the contents of a table and duplicate values that is causing this error to occur.

In GL vendor's, support will be needed to fix data and fix any database issues. And also, check your FRx installation, the Service Packs and the Add-ins installed.

And lastly, run the FRXReg67.cmd to fix it.
