Error on my picasa application please help

Hello

I can’t access Picasa and got an error message looks like (Cblockfile::restore err=2,bigtumbs_index.db and Cblockfile::restore err=2,previews_index.db.

I have restored and saved my system using windows program and carbonate. Both are failed to restore these documents.

Next I’ve downloaded Picasa version 3.8. But the error remains and still can’t access Picasa.

Give me a solution please.

Error on my picasa application please help

Your database seems to be corrupted or scrambled. You need a complete uninstall of the software and then reinstall.

Here’s the fix that you need to do:

Uninstall Picasa and tell the uninstaller to remove/delete the Picasa Database

Assuming you still have the .exe for Picasa version 3.8and install (or download and install again Picasa).

Here's how you can download and install it in your PC.

Please watch the video below:

Note: That there is a Picasa version 3.9 available also.

Picasa will rediscover your photos and rebuild its database. 

Once that's done, everything should be fine again.

This should fix both your problems at one go: Cblockfile::restore err=2,bigtumbs_index.db and Cblockfile::restore err=2,previews_index.db

Thanks for responding to my post. I really need to use Picasa but this error sucks.

I already re-install Picasa and it is perfectly fine now!

Posting questions in techyv solved my problems.
